Council for Partnership on Rice Research in Asia

The Council for Partnership on Rice Research in Asia (CORRA) was established in 1996 to help make various partnership mechanisms used in the global rice research system more effective.

CORRA had served as steering committee of the International Network for Genetic  Evaluation of Rice (INGER), up until 2010.  It will now perform as an advisory body for the Global Rice Science Partnership (GRiSP) in Asia.

Annual meetings

CORRA representatives meet every year to discuss issues and challenges facing the Asian rice industry. The meeting is also a forum where country representatives provide important inputs into the policies that influence the livelihood of rice farmers and consumers and the rice R&D agenda in the region. Member countries take turns co-hosting the annual meeting with IRRI.
