Farmers as customers: a service management approach to designing an agricultural research and development institution

In this paper a conceptual and operational for the Cambodian Rice Research and Development Institute (CARRDI) is presented. Although initially prepared to stimulate support from external donors, the blueprint is intended to serve as a hypothesis on how to design a customer-oriented, service-driven research and development institution.
